The Anschutz target rifle is a heavy barrel, .22 cal, manually operated,single shot, hand fed, bolt action weapon with an adjustable single stage trigger. It fires 5.6 x 16R (.22 LR) ammunition and is capable of firing single shots only. It is available in either right and left hand configurations and identified as models 1407D and 1407LD respectively.

The Anschutz Biathlon Models 1827 and 1827 Fortner are competition weapons used by the Canadian Armed Forces for training and Biathlon competitions.

The Rifle, Calibre .22, Anschutz Biathlon Models 1827 and 1827 Fortner are heavy barrel, .22 calibre, manually operated, magazine fed weapons with adjustable double stage triggers. The model 1827 had a turn bolt action while the model 1827 Fortner is fitted with a straight pull bolt action. Both models fire 5.6 x 16R (.22 LR) ammunition and are capable of firing a series of single shots from a detachable five shot magazine. The weapons are available with stocks to suit right or left handed shooters.
